Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef and the former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. Burrell hosts the Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, with her signature spiky blonde locks and an energised persona on Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, provides an easy and straightforward cooking techniques that are suitable for the home cook. Chef Burrell has worked and studied in the best New York restaurants. He has also competed in Iron Chef America and the cuisine of Italy. Burrell was born in New York State's Upstate, began to develop a passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America sparked her interest in restaurant management after she earned an English/Communications diploma at Canisius College Buffalo NY. I enjoyed every moment of being a student at The Culinary Institute of America she states. Culinary Institute of America was a great opportunity to pursue a degree. After graduation, chef Burrell went on to spend one period of time in Italy studying at an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin-starred restaurant in Tuscany. In Italy she gained a deep appreciation and understanding of Italian cuisine and its culture. This is a huge influence on the way that Burrell prepares her food. Burrell has served on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which helps brighten children living with obstacles and is also an Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation celebrity ambassador where she promotes the awareness of juvenile diabetes. She has been a frequent speaker at conferences and travels across the nation as part of her mentorship job.
